HeardFrom — Privacy Policy

HeardFrom ("the App") is operated by Fleeta Limited ("we", "us"). The App lets Shopify merchants show short post-purchase surveys on their order confirmation pages.

What we collect

• From merchants: the store's myshopify domain, survey configuration, and plan status. Nothing else.
• From shoppers: the survey answer itself (the tapped option or typed text), the question it answers, a timestamp, and optionally the order total used for anonymous revenue attribution. We deliberately store no names, email addresses, shipping addresses, order numbers, IP addresses, or any other customer identifier. Answers cannot be traced back to a person or an order. The App requests no data-access permissions from the store.

AI processing

When a merchant runs "Analyze answers", free-text survey answers (the text only) are sent to OpenAI's API to be classified into marketing channels. No other data accompanies them.

Data retention and deletion

• Uninstalling the App stops all collection immediately. When Shopify sends the shop redaction webhook (48 hours after uninstall), every row we hold for that store is permanently deleted.
• Because we store no customer-level data, customer data requests and customer redaction requests are acknowledged with nothing to return or delete.
• Merchants can email us at any time to request earlier deletion.
